Lynchburg officials tour The Virginian, get update on renovations
Lynchburg City Council, members of the Lynchburg Economic Development Authority and other city officials got a glimpse into the long-running renovation of The Virginian hotel Tuesday afternoon.
Developers George Stanley and Blair Godsey walked a few dozen officials and members of the media through all sections of the hotel, showcasing how far the project has come and also how much work still needs to be done.
“It’s been an overwhelming project, but everything is coming together,” Godsey said. “We see a light at the end of the tunnel. We are proud of our progress and looking forward to finishing late in 2017.”
